Dandelion

After a 30 minute bike ride through a very rainy Copenhagen, I’ve basically stripped to my boxers and socks to match today’s studio dresscode, approved of the mix we did last night of Third Eye Surgery and moved on to Dandelion.

Bullshit Detector

I’m back in the comforting womb of Black Tornado today, still slightly hungover from the new years party two days ago. Ok, I’m not 35 anymore I guess.

It’s Just A Ride…

We have now decided to stop recording and start mixing the album. I’m part relieved that most of my job is done, but also I have this creeping feeling that I’ve missed something somewhere, ever since I woke up this morning.

Third Eye Surgery

I have now recorded the basic tracks for 13 new songs in my favourite Black Tornado studio with technician Anders “Evil Jebus” Onsberg and plan on spending the next three weeks over christmas and into the new year finishing an album which will be titled Third Eye Surgery, for release by Bad Afro in april 2012.

Waiting For The War?

I’m almost ready to start recording the new album. I have a whole bunch of new songs with working titles such as Waiting For The War, Light Up Your Mind, The Harbinger, Love Like A Flower and It’s Just A Ride. Four days have been booked in  Black Tornado Studio starting next week.

Making my way…

In the last week I’ve written two new songs that I think will end up on the next BW album. One is called THIRD EYE SURGERY and has an uptempo spacerock type riff and a really catchy chorus.

Cleaning up my own mess…

The last weeks I’ve been in a process of listening to and marking all the cdr’s in my archives. I threw away a lot of stuff that had no relevance (multiple copies of the same roughs and final album mixes etc) and uploaded the rest to my Bandcamp site. I don’t think people realize just how much of a mess a 15 year period of creative work can produce.
